Who is TASSA?

In 2016 Thatcham announced that from December 2018 it would no longer accredit aftermarket alarms and immobilisers, and trackers meeting categories 5, 6 & 7 would longer be able to acquire certification.

The Tracker and Aftermarket Security System Association (TASSA) was formed with the goal to become the foremost innovation accrediting body for aftermarket security systems in the UK, and providing credibility and reassurance to customers having aftermarket security systems fitted.
TASSA helps to maintain standards and Best Practice, to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of security products, and gives the vehicle security industry a voice.
